Rather than offering an overwhelming range, we have perfected one beautifully considered Orthopaedic Merino Bed, available in four comfort feels: Soft, Medium, Firm and Extra Firm. You simply choose the feel that best suits you and the way you sleep.

Every mattress and base is carefully crafted in New Zealand. Natural, breathable New Zealand Merino wool, orthopaedic support, premium NZ-made components and hands-on craftsmanship come together to give you lasting comfort, dependable support and a bed you can feel confident choosing.

After more than three decades in the bed industry, Kim saw that buying a bed had become unnecessarily complex. Luxury Orthopaedic Beds was created to make the choice simpler, without compromising on quality.

Made in New Zealand


From the mattress to the base, every bed is made here in New Zealand by experienced bedmakers, using premium components and a careful, hands-on process.

New Zealand Merino wool


At the heart of every mattress is a 100% natural New Zealand Merino wool comfort layer, built into the mattress for breathable, beautifully cushioned comfort.

Support by Design


A five-zone pocket spring system, carefully selected cushioning and reinforced edge support work together to provide balanced comfort and dependable support across the mattress.

One bed, made personal


Choose Soft, Medium, Firm or Extra Firm, then personalise your base, storage and headboard. The quality remains consistent; the final bed is tailored to you.

Yes, you’re welcome to visit our Hamilton warehouse to experience the bed in person. However, many of our customers confidently purchase online after reading reviews and recommendations.

We offer Soft, Medium, Firm, and Extra Firm options. Around 80% of customers choose Medium as it provides the perfect balance of comfort and support. Ultimately, it depends on your personal preference and sleeping style.
