What is the Luxury Orthopaedic Beds 60 Night Comfort Guarantee?
Worried about what will happen if you aren't 100% in love with your new bed? That's alright, Luxury beds will help you exchange your mattress with a new mattress more suited to you. All we ask is that you give your new mattress at least 28 nights to make sure your body has become accustomed to the comfort level.
Why 28 days?
The reality is that it take most of us several nights for our bodies to adjust to a new sleeping surface and it is not uncommon for minor aches and pains to develop as a result, but they typically dissipate quite quickly.
If your new mattress feels too firm, try sleeping in different areas until you break in the sleep surface or adding a topper for first few weeks until you become accustomed to the new mattress. If your new mattress feels too soft around the middle part or lower back areas, try using a lower/thinner pillow.
As it is typical to allow 3-4 weeks to break in your new mattress and for your body to adjust to a new sleep surface. All we ask is that you sleep on your new mattress for 28 days for the mattress to adjust to you and for you to adjust to the mattress. After 28 days if you are not completely satisfied with the comfort levels of your new mattress, contact us to arrange exchanging your mattress under our 60 Night Comfort Guarantee.
60 Night Comfort Guarantee Terms & Conditions:
For the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee to apply, a waterproof mattress protector of the same size must be purchased from Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Ltd with the new mattress on the same invoice.
Please note: Mattress protectors are posted to you (unless collected in store) once payment has been received. Any delays due to payment processing or NZ Post (regarding delivery of the mattress protector) are not the responsibility of Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Ltd. If you have not received your mattress protector by the day prior to your mattress delivery, please contact us.
The 60 Night Comfort Guarantee applies to purchases made from24/01/2024 and does not apply to purchases made prior to this date.
The 60 Night Comfort Guarantee applies to a mattress exchange only. Refunds are not available under the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee.
Your 60 Night Comfort Guarantee begins from the day of delivery or the day of collection (for all orders made after 24/01/2024). The purchased mattress protector must be used on the mattress for the full duration of the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee period.
A minimum of 28 nights' sleep on your new mattress is required to allow your body to become accustomed to the chosen comfort level. Between the 28th and 60th night, if you are unhappy with the chosen comfort level, you may request an exchange.
To remain eligible, the original mattress must be returned to Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Limited for inspection within the 60-night Comfort Guarantee period. Mattresses returned after the expiry of the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee period are not eligible for exchange.
A fee of $249 (per mattress) applies to all mattress exchanges under the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee.
If the new chosen mattress costs more than the original mattress, you will be responsible for paying the difference. The price of the exchanged mattress will be the price applicable on the day of exchange. If the original mattress was purchased at a discounted price, any additional amount payable will be calculated using the current selling price. No refunds or credits will be given where the replacement mattress is of a lesser value (including changing from a Soft or Extra Firm mattress to a Medium or Firm mattress).
Only one mattress exchange is permitted during the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee period.
Replacement mattresses supplied under the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee are not eligible for a further Comfort Guarantee exchange.
The Comfort Guarantee applies to the mattress only. Headboards, bases and mattress protectors are excluded and mattress size changes are not permitted.
The original mattress must be used on a structurally sound foundation in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty. Any use which voids the manufacturer's warranty will also void the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee.
Customised or made-to-order products are excluded from the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee, including Single mattresses, Long Single mattresses, zipped mattresses and custom-sized mattresses.
The purpose of the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee is to allow customers to exchange the comfort level of their mattress after sleeping on it. It is not intended to assess, investigate or remedy manufacturing defects, damage or any issue unrelated to mattress comfort. Such matters will be considered separately in accordance with the applicable manufacturer's warranty and/or your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, where applicable.
The original mattress must be returned to Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Limited (8A Hounsell Road, Hamilton) during our inspection hours (Saturday, 10.00am – 2.00pm, excluding public holidays) for inspection. Mattress inspections are not available on public holidays.
From time to time, Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Limited may require a mutually agreed inspection time to be arranged before a mattress is returned to ensure the appropriate personnel are available to carry out the inspection.
The returned mattress will be inspected by Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Limited before any decision is made regarding eligibility under the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee. Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Limited will determine whether the returned mattress satisfies the eligibility and condition requirements of the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee, acting reasonably and in accordance with these terms. Where Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Limited is unable to determine the significance or cause of an apparent irregularity in the condition of the returned mattress, Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Limited may refer the mattress to the manufacturer for technical assessment before a decision is made regarding eligibility under the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee.
The mattress must be returned in its original condition, in the original protective plastic base and cardboard corner protectors (or replacement packaging purchased from Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Limited if the originals are no longer available), and be free from damage of any kind. Damage includes, but is not limited to, marks, stains, soiling, exposure to bodily fluids, contamination by smoke, pet odours, fragrances, cleaning products or any other contamination.Preference is for all mattresses to be returned in person by the original purchaser or their representative.
Customers may arrange return via a third-party freight carrier at their own cost. Transport remains entirely at the customer's risk until the mattress has been inspected and accepted by Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Limited. Luxury Orthopaedic Beds Limited reserves the right to refuse delivery from a freight carrier where the mattress shows signs of damage or is otherwise not presented in accordance with these terms. Any return freight costs in such circumstances remain the customer's responsibility.
Customers wishing to collect an exchange mattress on the same day as returning their original mattress must provide a minimum of seven (7) working days' notice. Same-day collection is subject to the returned mattress first satisfying the eligibility and condition requirements of the 60 Night Comfort Guarantee.
Where the original mattress is returned by third-party freight, any replacement mattress will only be released after the returned mattress has been inspected, approved for exchange, and all applicable fees (including delivery charges) have been paid.
The 60 Night Comfort Guarantee is offered in addition to the manufacturer's warranty and your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes those statutory rights.
